Shakespeare Class

From Stone Age to Stone Mason

 

After finishing their Stone Age to Iron Age topic, Shakespeare class learnt about the modern-day career of a Stone Mason. With thanks to Mrs Bomani’s brother, the children were able to learn about what training is needed, what opportunities there are for Stone Masons and how the job can be a hobby as well as a career. Shakespeare class saw examples of Salisbury Cathedral being restored; personal work given as gifts for friends and family as well as intricate work entered in competitions. A great career choice for anyone who is creative, enjoys working accurately and has lots of patience!
