On Tuesday 5th February 2019, St Joseph and St Teresa school will be celebrating ‘Safer Internet Day 2019’. All of the children will attend assemblies based on the theme: ‘Our internet, our choice’. They will also be getting involved with activities within the classroom that will reinforce the ideas shared in the assemblies. To help with this at home, follow this link to the safer internet day website that shares activities that can be done by parents and carers to ensure that children are using the internet carefully and effectively. https://www.saferinternet.org.uk/safer-internet-day/safer-internet-day-2019/education-packs/activities-parents-and-carers
Always be careful when you are using the internet. It can help you to keep in touch with your friends and help your education – but it can also cause harm – to you and to others.
Remember help is always available at school if you are having any problems online.
Don’t be afraid to talk to your teacher or another adult at school.
